学生時代、アルバイトへ通うのに利用していた、今は廃線となった名鉄・猿投～西中金線。約45年ぶりに、その懐かしい路線跡を訪ねてみました。
今回立ち寄ったのは、かつての三河広瀬駅。駅舎は当時の面影を残したまま大切に保存されており、ホームや線路も整備され、まるで時間が止まったかのような雰囲気が漂っています。
現役時代のように列車が走ることはありませんが、静かな駅にはどこか温かさがあり、当時を知る人には懐かしく、初めて訪れる人にもノスタルジックな魅力を感じさせてくれます。
春には桜、秋には紅葉の名所としても知られ、四季折々の美しい景色を楽しめるスポットです。45年という長い年月を経て再び訪れた三河広瀬駅は、昔の思い出と現在の穏やかな時間が重なり合う場所でした。
As a student, I used to take the Meitetsu Sanage–Nishinakane Line to my part-time job. This railway line has since been abandoned, and after about 45 years, I decided to revisit the route that holds so many memories.
One of the places I stopped by was Mikawa-Hirose Station. The station building has been carefully preserved, retaining much of its original appearance. The platform and tracks are also well maintained, creating the feeling that time has stood still.
Although trains no longer run here, the station has a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. For those who remember the railway, it brings back fond memories, while first-time visitors can enjoy its nostalgic charm and glimpse a piece of Japan’s railway history.
Mikawa-Hirose Station is also known as a beautiful scenic spot. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring, and vibrant autumn leaves transform the area into one of the region’s most picturesque destinations. No matter the season, visitors can enjoy the beauty of Japan’s changing landscapes.
Returning to Mikawa-Hirose Station after 45 years was more than just a visit—it was a journey through time, where cherished memories of the past blended seamlessly with the peaceful atmosphere of the present.
