成田空港で国内線へ乗り継ぐまで時間があったので、昼食を兼ねて空港内を散策しました。しかし、お昼時ということもあり、どのレストランも長蛇の列。そんな中、比較的空いていた中華レストランに入ることにしました。
注文したのは、担々麺と中華丼のハーフサイズセットに黒豚餃子を追加したメニューです。
肝心の味はというと、特別美味しいわけでも、かといって不味いわけでもなく、ごく普通という印象。黒豚餃子も既製品のような味わいで、特に印象に残るものではありませんでした。
会計は約2,000円。日本では少し高く感じる価格ですが、アメリカの物価に慣れてしまった今では、空港内のレストランとしてはそれほど高いとは感じませんでした。
I had some time before catching my domestic connecting flight at Narita Airport, so I walked around the terminal looking for a place to have lunch. Since it was right around lunchtime, most of the restaurants were packed. Eventually, I found a Chinese restaurant that was relatively less crowded and decided to give it a try.
I ordered a half-size set of tantanmen and chuka-don, along with an order of Kurobuta pork dumplings.
As for the food, it was neither particularly good nor bad—just average. The dumplings also tasted like they might have been pre-made, and they were nothing special.
The total came to about 2,000 yen. It felt a little expensive by Japanese standards, but since prices in the U.S. are so high, it did not seem too unreasonable for a restaurant inside the airport.
